Tanka "Tanka" means, literally, "a thing rolled up". Photographed from Tibetan scroll paintings of the sixteenth to nineteenth centuries, Tanka is a cyclical vision of ancient gods and demons, an animated journey through the image world of the Tibetan Book of the Dead.
